Samsung Showcases NX30 and 16-50mm Lenses at CES 2014

As Samsung has entered into this year with a number of new offerings for its devoted customers, one of the best coming attractions is Samsung NX30 Camera. The camera boasts a newly introduced ‘S’ series lens, according to the official press release. This invention will be displayed at CES 2014 Las Vegas Convention Center from January 07 to 10. The camera will assist both professional and beginner photographers with certain new and enhanced features.

Specifications: Samsung NX30 does not necessarily require lens to get started. The core camera has 20.3 effective megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor that captures high resolution still images up to 5472×3648 pixels, while 1920×1080 high definition videos. The 3.0 inch Super AMOLED Swivel and Touch Display enables you to take shots with higher control and accuracy.

Applications: The imaging device includes Samsung’s very own SMART Mode with 16 different modes. The device has several pre-loaded applications that can be brought to use while being connected to the internet through WiFi. These applications include: Auto Share, Samsung Link, Photo Beam, and Mobile Link which helps in sharing the captured photos with quite ease. It also entails memory optimization through uploading and storing your image and video libraries on cloud storages like Dropbox and Flickr. Samsung delivers the product with Bundle PC software including iLauncher, Adobe Photoshop, and Lightroom 5.

First Premium ‘S’ Lens: The new entries include two lenses to be displayed from Samsung at CES 2014. These are the first in the new series and possess a 16-50 mm of focal length with optical image stabilizer. The lenses can only be mounted on the NX series of cameras. The featured F2-2.8 and F3.5-5.6 apertures are specialized to put a sharp focus on the view.

Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd will be showcasing four different products at CES 2014. However, all these are categorized as photography equipment, which explains that Samsung is delving deep into cinematography gadgetry.
